Reporting to the Project Manager – Installations, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for processing of service orders, preparation and distribution of related reports and is a liaison with the installation team.

Main Duties:

  • Receive daily work orders from OLG and update IMS
  • Create SROs (Service Request Orders) in ISM system
  • Maintain ISM database including creation of new customers
  • Main point of contact for installers regarding SROs
  • Review and verify completed SROs submitted by installers
  • Shipping and editing of SROs in ISM system
  • Update product status in client IMS system
  • Generate and distribute weekly performance report (Backlog Report)
  • Prepare, review and distribute Weekly Installations Report for OLG
  • Manage OLG special projects such as WJS and Quicktickets
  • Extract GMO/Direct shipment report from IMS weekly; submit to Manager weekly
  • Month end report preparation including Monthly Installation Summary, Incident Report and DSM Report
  • Review and file OLG installation pictures
  • Assist Installation Team and other duties as required

Employment Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years post-secondary education or equivalent in related studies

Reporting to the Shipper/Receiver, the Material Handler is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of materials in and out of the facility.

Main Duties:

  • Supports Shipper/Receiver by fulfilling duties as requested
  • Use forklift, hand trucks and other lifting devices as required to move incoming and outgoing materials
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards
  • Accept, count and properly place items for storage and access into assigned areas and racking, ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage
  • Assemble and pack items for shipment in accordance with company safety and security procedures
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are labelled as required
  • Receiving of materials in ERP system within specified time frame
  • Ensures materials are stored and transported safely
  • Carry or transport orders to delivery platforms
  • Conduct physical inventory cycle counts as provided by Finance, report inventory variances
  • Ensures department and surrounding area are safe and secure at all times, and maintains proper housekeeping

Reporting to the Metal Shop Manager, the Welder is responsible for the welding of steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements
  • Set up welding machines based on job requirements
  • MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on specifications
  • Create, follow and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
  • De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
  • Identify machine issues that may affect material integrity
  • Read work orders and tag or product as required
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Employment Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating as a commercial welder
  • Certificate or Diploma in welding techniques or technician or equivalent experience
  • Experience with MIG and TIG welding
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and material properties
  • Ability to read BOM listing and technical drawings
  • Proven measurement and mathematical skills including tape measures, angle gauges and calipers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Understanding of metal and material tolerances
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Reporting to the Metal Shop Manager, the Metal Polisher is responsible for the grinding, smoothing and polishing of steel, aluminum and stainless steel weldments.

Main Duties:

  • Grinding, blending and sanding of welded steel assemblies
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards
  • Identify out-of-spec conditions such as missing welds, mis-aligned parts and any other issues that may affect material integrity or cosmetics.
  • Read work orders and tag or product as required
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Employment Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience metal grinding and polishing
  • Knowledge of raw materials, hand & electric power tools, production processes and material properties
  • Ability to read & understand BOM listing and technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Understanding of metal and material tolerances
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds unaided.

Reporting to the Metal Shop Manager, the Spot Welder is responsible for the welding of steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements
  • Set up spot welding and punch press machines based on job requirements
  • Create, follow and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
  • De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
  • Maintain output and quality requirements
  • Identify machine issues that may affect material integrity
  • Read work orders and tag or product as required
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Coordinator position consists of the following tasks:

Main Duties:

  • Plan and schedule daily and weekly workflow, critical paths for all production processes, monitoring and communicating changes as required to ensure on time delivery
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
  • Ensures all dates and status information on work orders are accurate and timely and communicated to all relevant parties
  • Coordinate and release vendor materials to meet daily/periodic production schedules
  • Inventory management including raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods  through maintenance of target levels, cycle-counting and physical inventory verification
  • Full support during physical inventory and reconciliation process
  • Issue purchase orders to keep commodity inventory and supplies to an optimized level without adversely affecting production
  • Ensure materials are correctly reported and issued to each work order on closing
  • Monitor production use, waste and scrap factors
  • Address and correct inventory discrepancies
  • Communicate with Project Management, Quality and Shipping departments to ensure clients orders ship to deadline
  • Work in compliance with Safety, Environmental, and Quality Systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Employment Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems including inventory management and scheduling
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including knowledge of pivot tables, V-lookup and report building
  • Outstanding communication ability both verbally and written
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures and practices
