Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Manufacturing Analyst will have a strong background in information systems and financial analysis of ERP system data.

 

 

Your main duties will include:

 

  • Field incoming problem tickets to resolve application and software issues (ERP (Infor – Visual Manufacturing)/ISM/Filemaker)
  • Maintain or create Macros and workflow towards improvement of processes
  • Create, support, and maintain daily, weekly, or/and monthly Financial and non-financial reports
  • Implementation or upgrade system lead
  • Record, track, and document the problem-solving process (SOP), through to final resolution
  • Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management
  • Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
  • Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications across the organization
  • Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes, and so on
  • Ensure that supporting documentation and knowledge transfer for applications that are being supported are in place and updated regularly

 

 

 

About you:

 

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and/or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems (Visual Manufacturing – Infor experience is a bonus)
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database queries, macros, workflow and trends in technology relating to software applications.
  • Advanced Excel functions and presentation skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed individual
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly

Somerville Merchandising Inc., a designer and manufacturer of custom point-of-purchase displays, is growing and seeking a Sales Coordinator to assist their Sales Team in developing and managing existing and new clients. Reporting to the VP, Sales and Business Development, the Sales Coordinator will provide support to the Sales Team to assist in ensuring their maximum performance.

Candidates with experience in custom manufacturing, permanent retail displays and printing are preferred.

Your main duties will consist of:

– Program administration, organization of priorities and scheduling

– Prepare project requests, enter customer orders, liaising with project management and production team to meet client needs

– Monitor the progress of all quotes and customer orders

– Develop and produce regular progress, status, invoicing and inventory reports

– Communicate effectively and professionally with clients

– Monitor, review and update social media feeds

Your skills and knowledge will include:

Job Type: Full-time

The Driver/Retail Installer is responsible for the safe operation of a vehicle, including loading and unloading of product, installing and removing customer merchandise in a neat and professional manner while providing exemplary customer service.  The position requires travel and will entail overnight stays away from home.

Main Duties:

  • Operate and drive delivery truck in a safe manner that complies with all legal requirements
  • Perform pre-inspection of vehicle and report problems with vehicle to supervisor immediately
  • Pick up, deliver and install as required all customer products using company-provided tools as per drawings and instructions
  • Provide courteous customer service
  • Record information on pick ups, deliveries and service, vehicle mileage and fuel consumption
  • File monthly expense and accounting reports in a timely manner
  • Work with other staff members to create a positive environment
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Reporting to the Metal Shop Manager, the Press Brake Operator is responsible for the programming, set up and production run of metal parts that meet dimensional specifications of mechanical engineered drawings.

 

Main Duties:

 

  • Operate Amada CNC brake press and other machinery used in the production process or assist other machine operators
  • Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type
  • Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
  • Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use
  • Consistently produce usable product that meets dimensional specifications of engineered drawings
  • Read work orders and tag product as required
  • Lift materials, final products and items packed for shipment, manually up to 50 pounds
  • Work in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

 

Employment Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working with sheet metal; experience with Amada equipment preferred
  • Ability to read drawings and specifications and a knowledge of engineered specified tolerances
  • Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven measurement and mathematical conversion skills including tape measures, angle gauges and calipers
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Understanding of metal and material properties and ability to distinguish metal types
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time

Reporting to the Metal Shop Manager, the Welder is responsible for the welding of steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specific welding requirements
  • Set up welding machines based on job requirements
  • MIG and TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless steel components based on specifications
  • Create, follow and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications
  • De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
  • Identify machine issues that may affect material integrity
  • Read work orders and tag or product as required
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
